Technical Aspects:

• Probes are designed to maximise sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility, allowing consistent discrimination between specific and background signals, and between closely related target sequences
• RNA per sample required: 3’ expression arrays - 5μg total RNA (or 100ng for 2 round amplification). Exon arrays – 1.5ug total RNA. ARK-Genomics runs a complete Affymetrix™ analysis of your RNA. We have standard protocols for labelling RNA from large (5μg) to small (100ng) samples available.
• Each label is QC checked through all stages of amplification and preparation for hybridisation.
• The raw scanned Affymetrix™ data is provided along with pre-analysed data that has been normalised and flagged for outlier features. Assistance with statistical analysis of the data is also available
