The ARK-Genomics and the Roslin Institute at the University of Edinburgh are pleased to announce that Edinburgh has been chosen to host the 32nd Conference for the International Society for Animal Genetics from 26th – 30th July 2010, Edinburgh.
The conference will be structured around themes, each with invited speakers covering major topics in, or relevant to, animal genetics and genomics, together with a programme of workshops organised by ISAG standing committees and poster sessions. Participants are invited to submit abstracts for the poster sessions (deadline 30th April 2010). A limited number of bursaries are available to enable students and early stage researches to attend the conference (deadline 31st March 2010).

Training
ARK-Genomics has developed a popular and successful “Microarray Data Analysis and Meta-Analysis Course”, which is held in Edinburgh at regular intervals.
Topics covered include microarray experimental design, normalisation; analysis of differential gene expression; analysis of gene pathways etc.
