3rd International Symposium on Animal Functional Genomics (ISAFG)
7th – 9th April 2008, Edinburgh, UK
The 3rd International Symposium on Animal Functional Genomics (ISAFG) brought together three conferences into one event: European Farm Animal Functional Genomics Conference (ARK-Genomics), International Symposium on Animal Functional Genomics (Michigan State University) and the launch of the EBRC(the provisional name for a new institute within the University of Edinburgh).
The conference was structured around the following themes, each with invited speakers covering major topics in animal functional genomics:
- Genetics and QTLs
- Bioinformatics and Data Mining
- Animal Health
- Functional Genomics meets Physiology
- Animal Genomics in Industry
- Proteomics
- Systems Biology
