Description:
The porcine 3K immune microarray is composed of 2880 cDNAs spotted in duplicate, derived from a number of sources to give a broad selection of clones representing porcine transcripts. 1500 cDNAs were selected from subtracted cDNA libraries generated from macrophages which had been treated in vitro under various conditions: stimulated, unstimulated, infected with ASFV Malawi LIL20/1 isolate and uninfected. 1000 clones were selected from MARC EST libraries by randomly choosing a single clone representing unique gene clusters. 100 clones were generated by targeted PCR amplification of specific mRNAs from porcine tissue.

Pig 13K Oligo
The pig oligo nucleotide array is constructed from the Operon Sus scrofa(pig)v1.0 and the Sus scrofa (pig) extension printed on the same slide. The array cosnsist of 28,072 features, prepared from 13,297 oligos printed in duplicate and the remainder are controls both positive and negative.
